A Film For a Saturday Night
The main actor in this week's film is one of my favorites, and this film came out relatively early in his career. The still image shown below is from one the film's most memorable scenes. (I also know that goldstone enjoys this film immensely).
Identify the following:
1) Who is the main actor?
2) What is the name of the film?
3) What is the famous line that is repeatedly being said during the scene pictured here?
Good luck. This one is a little tougher...

Marathon Man. Dustin Hoffman. "Is it safe?"
Funnily enough, just this evening, I was "discussing" Hoffman with the person who shared a lunch table with you today. I was asked if I've met you.

okay, Wanderer, I can't wait til midnight...too tired...and since someone else has commented, I figure it's okay to answer. (I will look to see who commented after I answer) Okay, this one is easy...Marathon Man (we have this picture hanging in our house) Sir Lawrence Olivier is in Dustin Hoffman's mouth, asking "is it safe"...help from Mr. cruisin on the famous line.
OKay, now I'll look....Ah, Pearl beat me here.

Oh wow I'm impressed Pearl and Cruisin' - good job! Then again I guess it shouldn't surprise me given what Mr. Cruisin' does for a living...
And Pearl and Doctor Bean - surely you must have me confused with someone else. At lunch time yesterday I was at 30,000 feet with two bogies on my tail. Never leave your wingman!

Ok..here I go again, without looking at the previous comments.

2)nada clue
3)Just Kiss Me Already!

Ok, all you smartie pants, I have one for you. In the movie Pulp Fiction, there is a "film flub" that my husband caught and pointed out to me. We have no idea how it escape Taratino or his editing crew.
Do you know what it is?
Do you know what it is?
Very good Sweettooth - the best defense is a good offense! Hmmm... a film flub in Pulp Fiction. I just don't know.
Hey Cruisin Mom, why don't you ask Mr. Cruisin and let us know?

Jaime: just a few...Mr. Cruisin has more, but I didn't want to take up all of Wanderer's comment space.
* Continuity: The sugar bowl on the table in the diner.
* Crew or equipment visible: When Jules and Vincent are riding in the car, it is possible to see the reflection of their car in the background, being towed on a trailer.
* Continuity: Several errors showing differences in the two times we see Jules and Vincent retrieving the suitcase from the apartment, including: bullet holes in the walls, Jules' speech, Jules' gun.
* Continuity: The amount of Brett's burger that has been eaten as Jules picks it up.
* Continuity: During the Big Kahuna burger scene, Jules put down his drink and a paper bag appears next to it. The bag then disappears and reappears several times between shots.
* Continuity: When Jules and Vincent are in the elevator on the way to Brett's apartment, the front shot shows Vincent stage left and Jules stage right. In the next shot, from behind, they've switched sides - Vincent is stage right and Jules is stage left.

Wow...you are good (or your husband - not sure who to give credit to.)
We only noticed one and you mentioned it above - the bullet holes in the walls of the college kids apartment. The holes are there before they shoot up the room.
So question - do you think Taratino intentionally left those in?

Oh my! Very impressive Mr and Mrs. Cruisin.
I have a feeling Tarentino didn't intentionally leave those in, but I also feel like he didn't particularly care if there were these "mistakes" there or not. Kinda adds to the artsy, low-budget feel he was trying to achieve (and did so well!).

Well Ralphie, it is kinda easy to name the movie when 10 comments before you have already identified it... Let's see you camp out with the big hitters (like Cruisin' Mom)who nails it within 1 hour of it being posted every Saturday night.
Psychotoddler - video game? No way man, its real life. Top Gun all the way - Miramar Naval Air Station is just down the coast.

Oh, of course, silly me. Well, I guess aircraft are OK for some people.
Of course, last night I blasted 15 space pirates outside of the New London System. Frakkin pirates tried to steal the Optical Chips I had salvaged from that space wreck in the Aldebaran system.
